Commodities@icm Commodity futures trading in SAP R/3 with Add-On Commodities@icm The Commodities@icm software had originally been developed as an extension of the SAP-system for trading in vegetable and animal oils and fats. Commodity trading follows specific rules. For this purpose the trading partners join together in associations such as FOSFA (Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Associations Ltd.) or NOFOTA. Commodities@icm software has a modular structure and is easily adjustable to commodities trading. Parts of this are purchase- and sales contracts as well as strings (deals without physical delivery). Commodities@icm covers processing, disposition and controlling of various means of transport such as truck, inland- or seagoing ships. Thus Commodities@icm is suitable for obtaining large volumes from the Far East by sea-going vessel or smaller volumes by means of truck.
